Description / Harlequin Mix Livingstone Daisy Seeds

What a charming alternative to evergreen ground covers! This free-flowering, drought-tolerant, easy-to-care-for plant just takes off in the hot, dry soil that others find unfriendly. All summer long it sports masses of many-colored blooms on low, quick-spreading plants!

The cheery 1½-inch daisies have a crisp, cool look, with dozens of long, slender petals jammed around a black eye. They face straight up on 6-inch plants, turning ordinary garden spots into mosaics of brilliant color! In addition to solid white, yellow, orange, pink, and red shades, some blooms are bicolor, sporting a ring at the base of the petals. Very showy!

Harlequin Mix is a hard worker, too. Give it your most difficult-to-please garden spots, from that dusty place in the old rock garden to the hard-packed soil between stepping-stones, and watch it take off! All it asks is plenty of sun to spread a foot wide in a single season.

Perennial only in tropical zones, Harlequin Mix makes a fine annual elsewhere. Nothing beats its flower power and water-saving attitude! Pkt is 200 seeds. Zones 10-11.

Customer Reviews

Rating
One of the strangest I've ever seen!!!
Review by Crazy plant lady
First of all germination has to be over 100%. I had these plants every where!!!! I Would have given 5 stars but the foliage is just UGLY!!! No description I could come up with can explain, but when they start to flower the flower are just as strange but in a beautiful strange way. My customers either really loved these or just couldn't get past the foliage. If you like DIFFERENT these seeds are for you. I think a mass plant would be best.
