Hemerocallis 'Sun Dried Tomatoes'

Hemerocallis 'Sun Dried Tomatoes' is a deciduous perennial offering mid to late summer interest. A truly outstanding, vibrantly colored variety, Hemerocallis 'Sun Dried Tomatoes' produces giant 6-inch flowers with a golden green throat and a blend of tomato-red and orange petals with prettily ruffled edges. Each flower lasts one day, but each plant contains several long scapes with multiple buds that open in succession. So, it blooms for weeks, attracting butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds.

But it is extremely adaptable and grows well in a wide range of soils, including poor and dry soils. It is rabbit and black walnut resistant and heat, humidity, and salt tolerant.
