Description / Heuchera Fyre Wing™ 'Rhodonite' Coral Bells
Heuchera Fyre Wing™ 'Rhodonite' Coral Bells is a mounding perennial with finely cut leaves in layered shades of rose, violet, purple, and copper. The foliage shifts from rosy copper toward deeper purple tones, becoming more purple in fall. White flowers appear in May and June on stems about 14 inches tall, above an 8 inch mound about 11 inches wide.
New for 2026 in the Terra Nova® Fyre Wing™ series, 'Rhodonite' brings rich color to mixed containers, specimen plantings, and spots that need foliage contrast and winter color. Its finely cut texture adds detail beside broad leaves. In shade, pair it with astilbe, ferns, hostas, and hellebores. In sun, combine it with daylilies and ornamental grasses.
Plant in full sun to part shade in organic, well drained soil; clay or rocky soil also works when drainage is adequate. Keep soil moist but not waterlogged, then allow moderate drying once established. Avoid burying the crown at planting time. Hardy in Zones 4 to 9, 'Rhodonite' grows at a moderate rate and stays evergreen in warm regions and semi evergreen in cold climates. Layered rose, violet, and copper tones that deepen to purple make 'Rhodonite' a colorful choice from spring through fall.
