Hydrangea Flirty Girl® False Hydrangea Vine

Hydrangea Flirty Girl® False Hydrangea Vine brings lightly fragrant white flowers to fences, walls, and trees. Green leaves support the early summer display, while young purple shoots add another point of interest. This deciduous, self attaching vine combines its flowering appeal with easy care and heat tolerance, making it a useful choice for a vertical garden feature. This selection is part of the Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Shrubs collection.

Use it as a specimen or include it in a woodland garden where it can grow on its intended support. Mature plants can reach 50 feet tall and 9 feet wide, so choose a location with those dimensions in mind. Flowers attract pollinators, bringing activity to the summer display. Developed in France by Pépinières Minier, this selection offers both a flowering feature and coverage for a garden structure.

Plant in part sun in USDA Zones 5 through 9. It prefers moist, well drained soil on the acidic side and tolerates clay soil. Allow time for establishment: flowering begins when the vine grows vigorously on its support. It blooms on old wood and rarely needs pruning. Patience during establishment leads to the lightly fragrant white blooms that distinguish this easy care climbing selection.
