    After receiving the 2 orders (6) bare root blackberry plants ,i followed the directions to the letter but only 3 of the plants actually sprouted leaves, 2 of the plants did not have any visible buds on the stalks so I understand why they did not sprout , 1 of the stalks was much thinner than the others but I can detect what might be a small bud , but has not sprouted..

    these plants have produced many large berries every year, and have survived -20 F. The only draw back is you have to watch them as they do like to spread through the garden if you let them.
