This tall, stunning red rose was bred in New Zealand and was named after the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles. It forms many perfectly shaped red buds on long stems, then it bursts into a stunning display of double 4- to 5-inch blooms. Typically each rose is on a single stem, but they can form show-stopping clusters as well.
This is a disease-resistant rose plant, and it requires very little maintenance. Each rose bush rises to 5 feet in height, and dark-green foliage beautifully enhances the deep red flowers; Olympiad is a beautiful addition to cut flower displays. Each flower has 30 to 35 petals and a scent that will add a light fragrance to your garden and your home.
