Out of all the seeds from small package only one germinated. Two of the pollinators germinated

This was my first year planting the Orange Crisp. I normally plant Charleston Greys and they have done well. The orange Crisp pollinated well with the greys and WOW! what a sweet melon. I will definitely be planting more next season.

I grew this variety for the first time this summer. (2015). I ate my first melon this week (July 12) and it was simply delicious. The best part to me about the melon was that the texture from the heart to the rind was very consistent, something you do not regularly see in watermelons. I will definitely plant this variety again.

This is the one watermelon our customers (and friends) ask for by name! It bears and bears, and it stores better, longer than other varieties, though I never can keep them for long. I usually hide a couple away just for myself to enjoy after the season is over!

By far the best watermelon I have harvested this season! 1 people found this helpful

This by far may be the best watermelon I have tasted. I am a rookie watermelon grower and am currently growing Sangria's, Sunshines, Moon, star, Sugar baby, Japanese. I cut into my first one of these yesterday and besides it being beautiful the flavor is beyond amazing. I won't be sharing these :)

This is the best tasting watermelon we grow, but you cannot pick it too early. Eat the pollenizers before you eat the Orange Crisp. The Orange Crisp stores for weeks, and for awhile the taste improves with age.
