Palco sets smooth mid-green leaves with the traditional rounded, spoon-like shape. The yields are good, probably because this spinach demonstrates excellent resistance to 8 races of downy mildew: 1-5, 8, 9, and 11. No need to worry about rain, humidity, or crowding with Palco!

I'll continue planting Palco 0 people found this helpfulI'm still looking for spinach that produces and tastes as great as Melody (no longer available). Palco is the best replacement that I've found to date. I compared it to several other varieties (and to Melody) in 2013 and 2014. Not quite as crisp and tasty as Melody, but it seems to be the best that Park offers.

Fast shipping but low germination rate 0 people found this helpfulJust bought 3 pkgs for winter garden. I started the seeds in green house, soaked the soil at beginning, then keep moisture until little plants come out. they germinated, but low rate. among 15 seeds, only 4 plants come out after 2 weeks. The plants are healthy though. Kinda satisfied
