Description / Panorama Mix Bee Balm Seeds

Ultra-colorful, wonderfully fragrant, frizzy 1- to 2-inch blooms in 4 hot colors light up the midsummer garden. This foolproof Monarda mix boasts scented flowers and foliage, for a dramatic impact in the garden or vase. The blooms of bright red, scarlet, pink, and salmon are as long-lasting as they are dramatic, heralding the arrival of midsummer to the garden.

Nothing brings in the butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees like Monarda, and these vigorous, bushy 3-foot plants bloom profusely, with up to 20 long stems per plant. Excellent for cutting.

Best in consistently moist soil receiving full sun or afternoon shade, these Panorama Mix Bee Balm Seeds are a trouble-free joy for garden and vase. Resist the temptation to crowd plants too closely—Panorama Mix Bee Balm Seeds will spread of their own accord soon enough. An excellent cut flower, Panorama Mix Bee Balm is also a great choice for Northern gardens.

Excellent germination
Review by IMBabci2
The lavender shades of Monarda grow so well in my Zone 7A mountain conditions that I wanted to try the red, pink, and white shades. Blooms begin in late May and continue well into Autumn if sheared and kept sprayed to prevent powdery mildew. These red pink, and white shades germinated very well and are strong growers. Monarda makes for a delightful minty tea and substitute for oregano. The flowers are a real treat in salads and put in honey. And, as stated by Parks,Monarda are bee magnets. If using for eating remember to harvest early as late in the season they are very susceptible powdery mildew if not kept sprayed.
