Park Seed Cucumber Trellis
Description / Park Seed Cucumber Trellis
MADE IN USA
Our heavy wire cucumber trellis is the perfect way to grow the best crop of your life. Set it open to just the angle you desire, then let the plants climb their way to big harvests.
This steel trellis operates on springs to open wide and stay put all season long (adjustable hinged design). No matter how heavy the vines become, this trellis will hold them up beautifully. It comfortably accommodates up to 2 plants on each side, for an uncrowded, fruitful planting.
Four feet long and nearly four feet high when upright (how wide you open it is your choice), Park's Cucumber Trellis folds flat for storage, washes clean in a trice with the hose, and holds up for a lifetime.
Treat your garden to this top-quality trellis . . . and use it in the off-season for sweet peas and other climbers, if you like. Sturdy and dependable, it's a useful addition to any garden.
NOTE: Always use caution when handling metal trellis as some edges may be sharp

Held during hi-wind storm 0 people found this helpfulSince it's early in the growing season, all of the trellises I put into my raised bed garden were still present after the almost-tornado force winds went away. Even the 8 foot tall pea trellis. My problem with the cuke trellis is that the cuke plants tend to NOT climb up it. I have had to put the branches onto the trellis to get them started in the previous years and assume I'll have to do that again this year...

Works great in my raised bed 0 people found this helpfulUsing this for cucumbers currently. Wanted to buy a second for a fall batch of sugar snap peas, but sadly they are sold out. Very sturdy and well made.

Excellent Product 0 people found this helpfulI bought one years ago which had springs on the side, the new one does not. I am hoping it works the same. That being said these are excellent. You can make them over any size row. My cukes crawled up these and made it so easy to pick them resulting in less waste from them lying on the ground.

Confusing 0 people found this helpfulFirst of all there are metal wires wrapped around various parts with no instructions - leave them on? Take them off? I didn't know if they were part of the whole contraption or not. I called and was assured they were not, only holders for shipping, so I undertook to remove them and what a project! Took a couple different kinds of pliers and all my strength. Twisties or rubber bands would have been sufficient, guys! I unfolded the pieces as directed and now for the life of me I can't figure out how it's supposed to fit together. Perhaps now is when some twisties would come in handy, to hold the 2 sides together. Otherwise you're just sort of "propping" them up against each other and there's nothing to hold the 2 sides together at the top. Am I supposed to just tie them together somehow? I can certainly do that but I would appreciate some clear directions about the best way to do that. Otherwise I have no idea how well it actually functions

Best support ever! 0 people found this helpfulI bought 3 of these for the cucumbers and cantaloupe in my small raised bed garden. They are great for the plants and I have had better production than without the supports. I am ordering several more!

Works Great!!! 0 people found this helpfulI got this in the spring,my cukes are climbing all over this thing. I have a small garden and thought this would save space. It sure does and you can see the cukes alot better too. Think I will have to get another one for next years planting.
