Description / Park Seed Seed-Starting Eco Pots 2 Inch Square (6-Pack)
Made in the USA
Designed to be planted directly into the ground with the plant, the Park Seed Seed-Starting Eco Pot 2 Inch Square is compostable and sustainable. Plus, the walls of the growing pot contain protein-rich nutrients, no fertilizer needed.
When your plant has sprouted and is ready to be transplanted, follow the Park Seed Seed-Starting Eco Pot 2 Inch Square instructions, then transplant the entire garden pot into your container or garden. As the pot breaks down it releases nutrients directly into the plant's roots helping it grow bigger and mature faster. Continue to water as needed.
Park Seeds brand seeds are sold separately.

Extremely satisfied 0 people found this helpfulI've gardened for 50+ years and have tried all manner of starter pots. I actually had two other kinds of pots in use along with these this year (square 2-inch peat pots, the new rubbery cone shaped starter devices and these Eco-Pots Peat pots are ho-hum regulars as expected. The rubbery cones were a disaster. The seeds had a 50% or more failure rate. The seeds had a hard time getting germinated and them couldn't establish their roots in the rubber medium. However, the Eco Pots had seedlings practically leaping up from the potting soil. The leaves were dark green and very healthy looking. The plants continued to grow stoutly. I used the pots for cucumbers and peppers with great success. I will continue to use the Eco Pots.

Be Warned 1 people found this helpfulI bought these directly from the company that manufactures about 4 years ago. They did not break down as advertised. I am still pulling them out of the ground completely intact when turning over my gardens.
