Park's Double Bio Dome Seed-Starting System
Description / Park's Double Bio Dome Seed-Starting System
When we say that this seed-starting system is revolutionary, we really mean it! Now you can start your favorite vegetables and flowers indoors, for earlier crops at a fraction of the cost of buying plants. And you can select the varieties YOU want (not the half-dozen choices the local garden center picked out), confident that with Park's Double Bio Dome, your seeds will sprout and your sprouts will transplant easily into the garden!
This little powerhouse bears almost no resemblance to other seed kits, which tend to produce spindly sprouts with curled-up roots and limp stems. Park's Double Bio Dome seedlings grow to a uniform height and width, thanks to the spacious distance between each growing cell. And our growing medium -- the Bio Sponge -- encourages root growth downward, NOT in an upward spiral that eventually strangles the plant! With the Bio Dome, you place only one seed in each Bio Sponge, which really helps stretch out today's smaller seed-count packets. The only seeds unsuitable for the Bio Dome are very large ones (which you would want to direct-sow, anyway) and root vegetables needing space to grow their tuber, such as carrots, beets, and radishes.
Before and after germination, your seeds receive just as much light, water, heat, and air circulation as they need, thanks to the adjustable vents and bottom-tray watering design of the Double Bio Dome. This environment offers such great growth conditions to the emerging seedlings that Bio Dome plants are usually ready to transplant a bit quicker than other seedlings -- and they suffer virtually no transplant shock in the garden.

Worked Great! 1 people found this helpfulI started flowers and vegetables this year under a grow light in middle TN. My petunias are already blooming, as well as my tomatoes as of June 1st!

Not good 0 people found this helpfulWell I received the biodome and there was a good sized crack 2-4 inches in the dome so I tried to contact support to see about sending it back to get a replacement and 2 weeks later no response so I’m pretty dissatisfied

Check for leaks before use 2 people found this helpfulI ordered a replacement double biodome tray. Had used several of the regular sized ones the last couple of years without problems but his one has a pinhole in it. Overnight it dripped across my kitchen countertops, on top of my wood bar stool, down the cabinets, over my wood floor, under the cabinets. A mess! Check yours for leaks before you use.

So far, very good 2 people found this helpfulI like the instructions. Easy to follow. The seeds that I’ve planted are doing very well. Waiting for them to get their second set of leaves to replant. This is where I usually loose the seedlings. So far, this product has produced seedings better than any other product purchased at local area chain stores. The seedlings mostly do not make it this far. Thank you.

Perfect Seed Starting System 0 people found this helpfulI have been using the Park's Bio Dome seed starting system for more than 20 years. I have great germination rate every year and the system is extremely durable and easy to use. Only just now needing to buy another 120 Cell Double Bio Dome, as I am extending my garden. I would recommend this system to any gardener. In fact, even if you do hydroponic gardening, this is a great system, as it uses soilless sponges instead of seed starting mix. Additionally, I like how the sponges help retain water, even after transplanting.

Bio Dome - 5 Stars 0 people found this helpfulHaving spent 60 years gardening, landscaping, etc, I decided to try the bio dome this year. Wow. It works so easy I was amazed. Now for the "bad". If you (like me) are used to seed to take 2 weeks to germinate, don't be surprised if it is 2-4 days. It almost works too good. So be ready to plant as soon as you start most seeds. And they transplant with no shock or damage.
