Description / Pollinator Herb Seed Mixture

Bring pollinating honeybees into the garden with this lovely and delicious mix of herbs. Selected for their nectar- and pollen-producing ability, they are fragrant and beautiful, not to mention delicious. Just ask the bees.

Attracting pollinators to your garden is important for the long-term health of your landscape. Many pollinating insects are also pest-fighters, driving out destructive insects that might otherwise prey on the garden. By attracting "good bugs" into this herb garden, you are also offering a natural source of pest repellent.

Plant in spring to early summer for longest, most productive season. Enjoy the winged visitors this mix will bring into your garden.

Not only is the mixture marvelously fragrant and attractive to pollinators, it is also useful as a culinary herb garden. All of these herbs can be used in cooking or flavoring, and most are cut-and-come-again that can be trimmed as needed all season for tasty dishes.

Mix Includes:
Borage
Chives
Sage
Basil
Lemon Mint
Catnip
Sweet Marjoram
Oregano
Creeping Thyme

Look nice!
Review by sj.gagli
Planted these in hanging baskets. Quick to germinate, some of the plants varieties in the pack are quite pretty, though to the best I can tell, only 1 of them flowers. Pack appears to contain basil, sage, and something else with no discernible culinary value with purple flowers. Haven't seen it attract anything though.

Pollinator Herbs are a Great Idea!
Review by DeAnn
I really want to grow a mixture of pollinator friendly herbs. In this mix you get borage, chives, sage, basil, lemon mint, catnip, sweet marjoram, oregano, and creeping thyme. The disappointing part is the 100 seeds are all mixed together making it impossible to know what is what both at sowing time and when they come up. I would so much appreciate if the seeds were in the small wax paper inner envelopes and marked so it would be possible to identify what to grow and know what is what.Thank you for your consideration.

Ordered more!
Review by Karen
This is a lovely mix of herbs, germinated quickly, grew well, provided a wide range of choices for the bees and butterflies. I planted them in several places in with my vegetables, and had no unwanted insects. I enjoyed the different textures and fragrances so much that I ordered two more packages.

Basil variety is a true bee magnet! I highly recommend it!
Review by Britton Wilson
Here in Jensen Beach Florida, the Basil attracted not only more bees than the usual store bought variety but it attracted my favorite friendly metallic green halictid bees! always a joy to share my garden with these guys, they are fun to watch and photograph and they show up in more numbers than I have ever seen before when this basil is in bloom. Definitely worth collecting the seed from this basil variety and I always make sure I have a specimen in bloom.
