The flowers begin in early summer in most climates, each 1½ inches wide and bearing a fabulous sweet fragrance. Where they are untroubled by drought, extreme heat, and wind, they continue right through fall, ceasing only when frost sets in. This is a selection of our native American species (originally found in Texas), and when given adequate water in rich, well-drained soil, there's simply no stopping it!
Pomegranate reaches about 14 to 20 inches high and a foot wide, with lush foliage below the bright, fragrant blooms. It's terrific as a cut-flower, and catches the eye from way across the garden. Use it in containers, too -- this unusual shade of red is just too rare to pass by! Pkt is 30 seeds.

Phlox Pomegranate 0 people found this helpfulThe color of these are very bright and striking! I planted them in a small urn in full sun and they cascaded over the side to make a spectacular sight. Not all the seeds germinated but the ones that did made it worth it.

Incredible! 0 people found this helpfulBought this to grow in some containers on our patio. The plants are amazing. Started indoors. High germination rate. The plants started flowering at about 1-2 inches tall! Doesn't seem to be bothered by heat, and flowers galore. Would definitely buy again.
