A Park Seed Exclusive, Park's Junior Whopper Yellow is a hybrid yellow cherry tomato. The plant sets uniform clusters of round yellow fruits with crack-resistant skins. These cherry tomatoes have a sweet flavor, with an average 7 Brix rating, perfect for snacking. Tomatoes are considered a superfood for their nutrient rich content. They are a good source of vitamin C and provide vitamin A and potassium. Tomatoes also contain carotenoid lycopene and beta-carotene as well as phenolic acids and flavonoids.

Usually grown as an annual, Park's Junior Whopper Yellow, an herbaceous tender perennial, is a member of the nightshade family (Solanaceae), which contains plants that typically grow in temperate to tropical regions. A very vigorous, multi-cluster, indeterminate variety, often called a "vining" tomato, Park's Junior Whopper Yellow produces multiple trusses filled with sweet, tasty tomatoes all summer and requires staking or caging for support. The plant has generative plant behavior. Blossoms and fruit continue to develop as the vine grows, so, it bears an impressive amount fruit over the course of a season.

A warm-season vegetable, sensitive to cold temperatures and frost, tomato seed should be started indoors about 4 to 6 weeks before transplanting to the garden after all threat of frost has passed. Flowers begin to set fruit with night temperatures between 55° and 75°F. Protect plants with row covers if temperatures are expected to dip below 50°F.
