Description / Rosa Suñorita™
Rosa Suñorita™, a floribunda shrub rose, is a deciduous perennial shrub offering three seasons of interest. Long and continuously blooming, this rose sets elegant, classically shaped red-orange buds on new wood that open into distinctive deep peach and orange sherbet-colored flowers from early summer through frost. The blooms have petals in an even, double whorl; and as the blooms age, they develop a golden tone. Borne in clusters, the lightly sweet-scented, ruffled blooms repeat rapidly, attract bees to the garden, and make lovely bouquets or additions to floral arrangements.
Rosa Suñorita™ has dense lateral branching, an even and controlled compact habit of deep green foliage, and a moderate growth rate. A striking specimen plant, this rose works well in a planter but is shown to best effect when massed or grouped in beds and borders.
Easy to grow and maintain, Rosa Suñorita™ prefers full sun and average, moist, well-drained soil. This rose is highly disease resistant but should be spaced with good air circulation. Deadheading is not required for continuous bloom.
