Some shortcomings 0 people found this helpfulI believe these could be great with a few improvements. The actual depth of the cell is 3 3/8 not 4 inches. I was specifically looking for the 4 inch depth. There is a single 1/2 inch drainage hole in the bottom. You will have to put these on a mesh rack in a tray to bottom water as the silicone is on the thin side and forms itself to the tray preventing water from being drawn up. The single tab makes it difficult to lift once filled. I imagine it will be more difficult as seedlings grow and fill out. I like the idea and would purchase again if improvements were made. Unfortunately these ones don’t work for me so I will be donating them.

I am off to a good start 0 people found this helpfulI have been gardening for years, but I always "cheated" and bought tomatoes and peppers and herbs already started because I have been unable to start seeds inside. I have tried every brand of those little starter puck things that you soak in water and it always ends in disaster. With everything getting so expensive, I am trying to save as much money as possible while expanding my garden, so I am back to trying seeds. When I saw these, I felt hopeful again. I bought several, and they are lovely. I like the size, I like the sturdiness, I like the reusablility, I like the bright colors. I planted a bunch of tomatoes and peppers, some broccoli and herbs, a few days ago and I already have a broccoli sprouting. I am so grateful that I found this product.
