Description / Speedy Arugula Seeds

30 days. The unique flavor of wild rocket, peppery and sharp, comes to life in this quick-finishing variety for garden and container! Great for baby greens as well as full-sized leaves, Wild Rocket Speedy is ready in just a month from sowing, always tastes terrific, and is easy to grow practically year-round! Wild Rocket Speedy sports narrow, lobed leaves of bright green, nicely serrated and very tangy. Pick them as young as you like for gourmet baby greens, or let them mature. The flavor is full and satisfying, with a nutty edge to the peppery bite.

This plant reaches about 8 inches high and slightly wider, good for containers and small spaces in the cool-season veggie garden. Direct-sow it in earliest spring, making successive sowings each week or two weeks to give you the longest possible harvest. In hot climates, it works even better as a fall and winter crop. Versatile, easy, and delicious! Packet is 400 seeds.

Started growing arugula several years ago. Love the slightly bitter taste I've had a couple of plants over-winter (even though I'm in Philadelphia!) Will self-sow and the flowers will draw honeybees to come in and feed.

The speedy arugula began producing extremely fast; it does bolt under warm, summer weather. We used it in salads, on pizza, and to create a pesto. The packaging protects any unused seeds from sunlight due to the reflective material. Overall, I am very satisfied.
