Description / Echinacea Cone-fections™ 'Honeydew'

Like a refreshing Honeydew melon, the shades of green in this Echinacea will bring a splash of crisp color to your garden! These greenish-white petals surround a fully lime green cone that create a lovely two-toned effect. This perennial is well-branched and that will stand strong all season.

Easy to grow and long-lived, the Echinacea has a very hardy nature, proving resistant to environmental stresses such as heat and humidity as well as cold and drought. Echinaceas are impervious to most pests and diseases, sending up all manner of colorful blooms in summer! In fall they draw in songbirds, which come to feast on their seed-filled cones filling your garden with life.

    Do not order this plant from Park Seed. It came in mid April, very poor quality; planted within 24 hours in a compost/pot and there is sits..no growth despite sunshine. Probably dead. Other plants ordered from Park Seed (Phlox) in similar condition and not growing.

    3 weeks and still no growth. I've been trying to grow this coneflower from a bare root for about three years now from different companies. I wish these companies would stop talking up the dormant bare root. They almost never grow. :( As soon as I can find a grower selling this plant live and growing in dirt, I will buy it.
