Park's Seed Starting Trays & Inserts
Description / Park's Seed Starting Trays & Inserts
If you want to start big, healthy, well-branched seedlings with good root systems, rely on Park's Seed-Starting Trays and Inserts. They are economical and reusable, and are relied upon by professional growers for premium-quality plants.
Made of black poly-plastic, each cell offers good drainage and plenty of room to grow. Use them to germinate seeds, or transplant seedlings from seed flats into them to grow on before setting out into the garden.
Each insert (which breaks into multiple 6-cell packs) fits perfectly into our bottom tray, which acts as a water catcher and carrying unit. Trays can hold 6 36-cell, 8 48-cell, or 12 72-cell inserts. Bottom trays, humidity domes, and inserts are all sold in packs of 4mix and match all you like for the best possible start for your garden. Reusable for several seasons.

Very Misleading and Unusable 0 people found this helpfulThe photo of the inserts, tray and cover is completely misleading. The cover is not positioned directly over the tray with the inserts in it as in the photos of similar products and as you would expect to use it because it does not fit. The description of the 36-cell inserts is that they are 2.25" X 2.25" which is true. What they fail to tell you is that the inserts are 3" deep and stick up 1/2" above the edge of the tray which is 2.5" deep. The bottom edge of the clear plastic cover will not reach the lip of the top edge of the tray because the top edge of the 3" cells blocks the cover from sitting securing on the top of the tray. Either you have to replace the 3" inserts with 2" inserts or you have to cut the sides of the 3" inserts next to the four sides of the tray down to 2.5". Either way, it is misleading advertising and an inconvenience to make the tray and the cover work with new or altered inserts.

Just what I needed 0 people found this helpfulI ordered the 36 cell ones because I cannot find them locally. These were also sold at a great price. These are thin but with care, you may get 3 or 4 uses out of them indoors.
