Let your hanging baskets and sunny annual bed really gleam this year with Silver Falls, the stunning foliage plant that sports velvety-soft silvery leaves, glistening silver stems, and a "never-say-quit" cascading habit that spreads up to 5 feet.
Vigorous and easy to grow, this Dichondra is simply one of the showiest accents around for all your containers and bare garden spots. Its leaves have a thick, super-soft texture and neat fan shape, measuring about 3/4- to 1-inch long and wide. They arise profusely on very well-branched plants that need no pinching. Before you know it, this cascading beauty will be 3 to 5 feet long, though never more than about 3 inches tall.
Very heat- and drought-tolerant, Silver Falls recovers quickly even if wilted, and looks fresh all season long. Let it tumble around your Lisianthus, festoon your Dianthus, and wreathe your mums in spring-through-fall color.
Silver Falls thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. If you are using it as a ground cover in the garden, make sure that the soil doesn't get soggy underneath its glorious silver carpet.

Just 50% germination 3 people found this helpfulI planted all 10 seeds, just 5 germinated. Those 5 have done reasonably well and seem to have survived transplanting. Wish germination had been better. Also, wish there were other buying options. Park makes dichondra available in packets of 10 seeds or a bulk purchase of 100 seeds. Wish there were something along the lines of 25.

Most seeds didn’t grow 2 people found this helpfulFor this price for 10 seeds I’d expect higher success rate than 30%… all were planted identically in pods in an ideal, controlled environment of 72 degrees under a timed grow light with proper watering, and only 3 germinated. Disappointed.

Does very well, but not the same color as the photo 0 people found this helpfulI've grown this the last three years with no issues. It looks great cascading from containers. My only complaint and reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that only the undersides of the leaves are silver.

Good Germination 1 people found this helpfulThese seeds can be hard to come by so I sprang for this packet of 10. 8 germinated in peat pellets and all survived transplantation to a bigger pot. Very happy with this purchase and would repurchase.
