Shock Wave® Petunia

The very first Wave® to bloom — expect the flowers to begin in late spring instead of early summer, even in most northern gardens! — Shock Wave® is a unique member of the Wave® family of ever-blooming, trailing petunias from seed and plant. With smaller blooms and a fuller, mounded yet spreading habit, this annual is perfect for tight spaces, combo plantings, baskets, and containers of all types!

Shock Wave® is less sensitive to day-length than the other Wave®s, which means it blooms earlier and continues longer into autumn. This gives it by far the longest season of any Wave® Petunia, and you may find that at some point you want to revive the look of the whole plant. To this, just cut it back, water and feed it well, and within a few weeks you'll have what looks like a brand new Shock Wave®, ready for months more of color!

One of Shock Wave®'s best features is its weather resistance. These blooms stand up to rain and wind better than most &emdash; even better than the other Petunia Wave®s, which are known for their bounce-back-ability! Shock Wave® is also one the best for avoiding "empty centers" &emdash; new blooms keep appearing in the middle of the plant, even as it trails outward, so it stays fresh looking all season.
