Description / Tomato Fertilizer Spikes

Don't fuss with feeding schedules or worry about over- or under-fertilizing your tomatoes this season—with these slow-release spikes, your work is over after planting.

Each of these lozenge-shaped spikes contains a powerful NPK mix of 8-24-8, promoting heavy fruiting as well as good root growth and branching. Sink one into the soil as far as it will go on either side of your tomato plant (in a row of tomatoes, the spikes will feed both plants adjacent to them). The spikes slowly dissolve, releasing the nutrients to be absorbed by your tomatoes' roots. Nothing could be simpler.

Very economical, each packet of Tomato Fertilizer Spikes contains 18 spikes—enough to feed 9 tomatoes all season long. Enjoy "schedule-free" tomato growing with these slow-release lozenges.

I received this product as an added gift with my order. I used them when I planted my tomato plants and was so impressed how my tomato’s grew I decided to use this with any plant that looked to be struggling with phosphorus. Peas, luffa, cucumber, squash, zucchini, & kiwi are all crops I’ve fed with these spikes and they’ve all thrived and have come back from yellowing in some cases. Im so grateful these were included in my initial order. I would definitely recommend this product.

I am really sad that I cannot find Winchester Garden Tomato Spikes anywhere right now -- even their own website. When they are back in stock I will order plenty to keep on hand. They must be popular and sell quickly.

First Time Spiker in southern Missouri soil... 0 people found this helpful

For years I've tried to go organic in my garden and for years I've watched my neighbors bag up the tomatoes while I only got a few. I decided to try these spikes last year. AWESOME. I planted less tomato plants by half and got twice the tomatoes I did last year on the same soil. I intend to buy these again this year.
