Description / Sakura Organic Cherry Tomato Seeds

Indeterminate

Sakura is a high-volume producing vegetable. Part of the cherry tomato family, for its small, circular shape and bright red color fruit, this organic annual creates a ton of delectable, shiny tomatoes starting early in the season lasting into the fall.

This heat tolerant, crack resistant tomato is satisfyingly tender and succulent making them an excellent snack or salad addition.

The Sakura grows to a whooping 6 to 8 feet tall and 2 feet wide, so be sure to give it plenty of space when planting; we recommend 18 to 36 inches apart in full sun.

I bought the seeds from the United States and brought them to Brazil in the State of Goias, a hot and dry place. I planted it in the pot. is producing a lot. Wonderful

Amazing! 1 people found this helpful

I live in zone 7a on the order of 7b and it’s late October and I just harvested about a dozen of them. While it is unseasonably warm right now it’s still a testament to these tomatoes. They might not be cheap but they are well worth the extra money. The first ones ripened on June for me just over a month after I planted them in the ground and I haven’t looked back since. Highly disease resistant they survived a wet, humid summer with ease and gave me huge yields. They’re very tasty, not exceptional but the trade off in production is worth it, and aside from being good raw they also make a great sauce (cherries are high in pectin like plums!) as I can a lot of my tomatoes. Highly recommend.

The best cherry tomato ever! 1 people found this helpful

I grew these cherry tomatoes in my greenhouse two summers in a row. They are the tastiest I have ever had and produced so many delicious bunches of tomatoes into November. My whole family loved them.

My favorite tomato 2 people found this helpful

This is my favorite tomato despite being a hybrid. It started well indoors, transplanted successfully outdoors, and grew well. It was very productive; five plants produced about 60 pounds of tomatoes (not including ones that just didn't get collected by me). They are tasty and hold together well sliced (I used them in salads, on burgers, or as a side). I also cooked down and froze many pounds and they're carrying me through the winter. Having tasty frozen diced tomatoes is extremely useful...you can do anything with them. I will *always* get these tomatoes from now on. The only thing that would make these better is to be able to save seeds (but that's the self-reliant part of me talking and you can't have everything!)

Amazing little tomato 1 people found this helpful

Planted 4 plants in 2 Earthboxes late July 2020, it began producing in early October with a lot of fruit. Moved the plants into a tent greenhouse in early November (they are, not kidding, about 6-8 ft high ). We harvested 20 to 40 tomatoes every day throughout the winter. The tomatoes are sweet and flavorful, great for snacking. salads and cooking. Just folded up the tent, production has slowed a bit as the hot weather is beginning to hit but still going!
