Bush Bean

Endeavour wants to become your go-to bean for dependably heavy, delicious crops season after season. This widely-adapted, disease resistant dwarf French bean is simply scrumptious, delivering heavy yields in a wide range of climates. Give it a try this season.

This vigorous bush bean sets 5- to 6-inch-long pods of dark green. Reaching up to ½ inch in diameter, they are simply packed with sweet, succulent bean goodness. Seed development is slow, providing a long harvest window. They arise very, very heavily on plants that stand up beautifully against halo blight and anthracnose.

Beans are among nature's easiest and most beneficial home garden crops. Direct sow the seeds after all danger of frost is past in the spring garden. After you harvest the beans, plow under the entire plant, so that it will enrich the soil for next year's garden.

These beans were amazing and produced clusters of beans almost all season. I am ordering them again for the second year because we liked them so much.

Very productive, larger than filet beans, can be French cut 0 people found this helpful

I have grown all of our veggies in our basement for a number of years, and this was the first time I tried growing green beans. These were one of the 4 beans I grew in large bussing tubs at 8 plants per tub. Two of the other beans I grew were the slimmer, filet beans, and these were much larger than those. Many of the beans were 6-7 inches in length and the plants were very productive. Since these beans are larger, whole beans need to be cooked a little longer to make them tender. Since these beans are larger, I French cut some of them before steaming them for freezing. I also steamed some of them whole before freezing. We very much liked these beans, and I will definitely be planting them again. I will be planting them in pots to give them more space and will, hopefully, get larger plants that produce more with less plants.

These Tender green beans are the greatest! 0 people found this helpful

    Rating

Wow hese Endeavor tender green beans are the greatest! They were full of blooms and produced like crazy - I've picked 4 times and I can still get plenty about every 3- 4 days. They are resistant to diseases, usually by the end of summer the beans are so full of moldy leaves and pests I quit picking, however not this variety. Everyone should try some.

Had to plant these over again after the first planting did not do well at all. Had approx. 20 bean plants come up out of the more than 70 beans planted. The next planting is coming up but they are slow growing.

The year in Ohio has been very wet, but I was able to get 4 generous pickings from 2 rows of 15 plants. I had so many beans that I took some to the City Food Pantry. Recommend.
